The 21 piece JCA (Jazz Composers Alliance) Orchestra will present an evening of bold and exciting new music for Jazz Orchestra. The JCA roars into its 38th year, still never standing still. Included on the bill will be Guernica Pantoum, a setting of a poem about Picasa’s painting, which depicts the suffering of civilians after the bombing of the Spanish city of Guernica, in 1937, during the Spanish Civil war.
